Prof Peter Libby, the Director of Cardiovascular Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, spoke the Café de Sciences at the Residence of France from 6pm-8pm on March 24th 2010.
Dr Libby also serves as the Mallinckrodt Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He directs the D.W. Reynolds Cardiovascular Clinical Research Center at Harvard. Dr. Libby’s current major research focus is the role of inflammation in vascular diseases such as atherosclerosis. He has received numerous awards and recognitions for his research accomplishments.
